I had the pleasure of first getting to know Kayla and Nick at another wedding I was photographing. When they reached out about their engagement, I was thrilled to get to work with them! I wanted to try shooting their engagement at a lake where I mountain bike. So I headed there a couples day prior to scout and also got to mountain bike the lake trail while I was there, multitasking at its finest haha! On the way to their session, it started down pouring rain and cleared up right before their session started giving us a beautiful evening and sunset. Kayla and Nick were not only so easy to capture, but they were willing to run around the entire lake with me, up any hill or into any field. They were such great sports and probably felt like they got a work out in during their engagement session with all the ground we covered! It was so fun to capture these two in a new location and get to know them better. Congrats on your engagement and here’s to forever!
